1st International Distal Bypass Workshop
July 27 & 28, 2024 @ Tokyo, Japan
This will be an excellent opportunity to learn the surgical skill as well as planning of surgical strategy for long-term durability of revascularization. After BEST CLI era, there is an urgent need to train vascular surgeons who can perform bypass surgery. To provide high quality distal bypass, we need to learn not just the techniques, but the theory and science that serves as the backbone behind the techniques., We encourage all trainees in area of vascular surgery to attend this event.

The Workshop will feature the following sessions:
・Lectures to provide high quality distal bypass(see provisional program)
・Vessel anastomosis training using simulators
・Bypass surgery using living animal
・Case discussion how to treat this case

Requirements for participation:
・Participants must be vascular surgeons with six or more years of post-medical school experience.
・Participants should bring a magnifying glasses.
・Participation fee JPY 70,000－ paid by credit card in advance.
・Registration fee includes all workshop sessions, luncheons on Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Saturday. Accommodation and traveling expenses are NOT included.
・Accommodation must be secured by participant.

（Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.）

Hotel rooms have been reserved. JSVS will provide participants with information on how to make arrangements at a later date.
If any of the participants wish to do so,we will be able to perform peripheral vascular bypass surgery at a domestic vascular surgery facility at a later date.
We will make arrangements to give you the opportunity to tour (travel and accommodation expenses will be at your own expense).
